I first experienced this decadent dessert in Amman, Jordan while on my honeymoon. It was our Variation of marriage cake! I’ve heard much discussion as for the origin of knafeh, with some resources expressing it’s Arabic (especially Palestinian) and Many others saying it’s Turkish.
